An Update for the Beaumont Sale

I have given this some thought and have decided that I would like to donate 10% of all my sales that day to the school.

See, there.  Guilt free shopping excuse for you....you are just helping out the school and your community any way you can...

You are welcome.

WOW!

Thank you everyone for the great feedback on the pieces! I would appreciate it if you would pass the blog link on to your friends - unless of course you want to keep them out of the loop because you are buying presents....but think, you could also send your hubby/significant other the link with a wish list.  I know for most men the thought of going to a craft show is akin to having their chest waxed so I would be happy to make arrangements to meet them some other place; again just have them email me.

I had another thought too.  If you would like to order a custom piece just send me an email.  I can even take pieces you already have and remake them into something you might actually wear.  This idea might be a great gift thought for someone special.

I have more jewelley and the bags are coming along....just need to take the photos.  Please follow my blog!  If you follow I think you get email updates...not really sure though.

The Necklace Affair...

Here are the statement necklaces I created after the earrings; I was very inspired!  These are each one of a kind, never to be repeated as most of the findings are no longer available.  FYI...findings are the pieces used to join beads, i.e. the foundation of the piece.  I am unsure of the nickel content in the chains, but I can wear them without issue.  Again..no guarantee.

Another image of the ONE piece...

Vintage hand blown glass beads

This is a large statement piece.  I have used Zebra shell pieces  and glass beads to make this fabulous!

Earrings to Bedazzle Your Lobes

I am often inspired by the materials I happen to pull out that day.  This is a grouping I created one afternoon as I was looking at my feather stash.  Some of the designs have vintage hand blown Indian glass beads, crystals and metal charms, some have more current glass beads and some just have a semi precious stone; all have dyed common feathers of origin I am unaware of.  I use plated posts, unless otherwise stated.  These posts are hypoallergenic;  I can wear them until the finish wears off and I am very sensitive to nickel.  That said, I am not guaranteeing anything.

More Product - The Hair Accessory Section

Okay...let me start with a disclaimer: my earlier excitement about my photographic success might have been premature.  The pieces look like they are sitting on tinfoil.  The lighting is late afternoon so it changes with each shot.  Okay...I look at it this way - I can fool around attempting to take amazing shots of my pieces or I can live with what I have and spend my time making MORE pieces.  I am going with spending my time at what I am good at.  I am not a great photographer.  Anyway, the purpose of these photos is to entice you into coming to my sales.  I hope they do!

These are hair fascinators for little beans!
Hair Pin Fascinators for Anyone
Bobby Pins with semi precious stones attached...BTW...I discovered that Anthropologie sold pins just like these AFTER I created mine.

First Picture of Product!

Drum Roll Please...I have managed to take a picture of some of my creations.  I am using a technique I found on Pinterest (If you don't know about it, let me know and I will help!)  You will notice my high-tech photo boards...tinfoil covered cardboard.  It works!

These are hand-cut felt hair elastics.  I think they are cute!
